Happy Holidays everyone.

Wow, been gone a while.
Still working I promise, also discovered the amazing anatomy instruction
of Mr Glenn Vilppu  www.vilppustore.com
He is a master at anatomical drawing, truly none better.
(Check it out) if you're an artist you'll  really dig it.

Here is a drawing from a one shot I was pitching a few years ago.
Still have it on a back burner
(Titano) steam robot set in 1880's England.

Thank you for letting me share.
Happy Holidays

Norman Rockwell-Alex Ross

I had the distinct honor of working with Jesse Kowalski from the Warhol
museum in Pitt arranging the Alex Ross 'Heroes and Villains" exhibition at the
Norman Rockwell museum in Stockbridge Mass.
www.nrm.org

Well the wonderful people at the Rockwell museum actually did all the work.
Thank you Stephanie Plunkett and Margit Hotchkiss for the tremendous job
Besides being great at their job they are by far the nicest people on the planet.
I dont know whats in the water in Stockbridge but wish we had more of it here in Chicago.

Opening night was a huge success with attendance numbers over 400 people.
The exhibition will be at the NRM for the next 3 months you've got to go see it
it is well worth the trip.

What an experience .
Thank you again for letting me share.

Warmest regards

"Dagos on the Moon" project

In the 90's when I was out of work I dreamt up an indy
project that I could tackle, at the time every editor in the business told me I sucked.
So Dago's on the Moon was born.

I'm in the middle of a graphic novel at the moment , but upon its completion
this baby is getting finished.
Here's a few pages to give you an idea of what I'm going for.

Conan

Probably what was the beginning of my maturing into the comic world started
when I discovered the Savage Sword of Conan (and the monthly Conan title)
By the Magnificent John Buscema.
I always loved his work before this but Conan was a true kick in the ass to a young teen wanting to be an artist.

He was and still is my hero (Mr Buscema) as a tribute to him I'm going to do a series of Conan
pieces in the coming weeks.

This was a first stab...
