Ferro lad-gone but not forgotten

I use to love Adventure comics with the Legion of the Super heroes (especially Ferro lad)

I read it through out the 70's(when they got their title)

Dave Cockrum took over and re-designed all their outfits giving All the women a tremendous look

(well who are we kidding very hot outfits)

everyone looked like they were teamed up with

a partner and getting laid.

That was just not happening anywhere else in comics.

But I digress.

We miss you Dave

Not to mention what Dave did to the X-men.

The Creeper-Another DC funkt gig

Back in the 2001 I pitched a Ragman proposal and a Creeper

project to one of the Genius former Editors at Vertigo.

Anyway they gave the gig to some French guy that

now sells storm windows...and the project was cancelled

three issues in.

So I was at C2E2 and someone asked me if I would

do a Creeper piece for them.

Love the characters just not editors that suck at their job.

My point here..? draw and don't let rejection stop

you from getting things done.

Black Water-Wreck Diver project?

Been fooling around with the idea of a Deep sea diver project since I was a kid.

Was my first GI Joe and man was it cool to drop in the tub.

Thinking about a short book perhaps, print up 100 or so.

Mr Freeze- C2E2 this weekend

Always loved the recreation of this character.Bruce Timm and Paul Dini

Gave the character a soul and an origin that made you feel for the guy.

Not to mention the voice talent scared the sh-- out of you.

Taking on commissions and pimping Atomika.
