Mid-week and the work keeps coming.

Wednesday and all is well..

Spidey 2099 was a book in the 90's that I always thought was a cool idea.

However it was also the period where I couldn't get a job in the comic biz to save my life.

So I guess I'm torn,,,well not really I made some amazing friends in the 90's.

Also want to thank everyone for all the commission requests that keep coming in.

Actually I am pretty caught up so anyone interested in a color commission

I have flat $100 rate going for single character 11 by 17 sketch.

Week of March 30th -Triton and the intangible one.

Moving right along with some of the Marvel characters from the 60-70's

that I love so much.

The Vision from the Avengers (Some amazing John Buscema and Rich Buckler covers)

And of course Triton of the Inhumans, some of Jack Kirby's best work.

Friday and man the old SPidey villains are the best.

I hope to make my way through all of them and then hit the Daredevil one.

Even though they were a bit water downed versions of the Spidey bad guys.

Could the Champions be far behind?

Chicago is as cold as ever this spring and man it hurts to go outside..

You get use to it they say.

All things considered bring on the Baseball season already.

(Although in april the Cubs are technically mathematically out of it already..

(UPon their request) for yet another re-do of the book.

Anyway they went with a guy from France for the project..

50 degrees felt awful good here in Chicago.. But man where is spring already.

I suppose to be at Emerald con this past weekend but things didn't come together.

It's all for the best I had a blast playing with my 2 year old son Anthony.

I was always a huge fan of the Marvel b/w magazines from the 1970's

Especially the horror stuff, Blade etc by Gene Colan.

Was inspired last night and man I think I'm going to do more with it.
