with a few proposals for Marvel 1970's characters that I love.

Well for whatever the Gods reasons Marvel has chosen to pass.

Some old DC Stuff- Ragman,,

Back in the day I submitted a mess of work for a Ragman proposal..

Anyway the powers that be at DC comics weren't biting so nothing ever became of it.

Be that as it may I discovered the character and always thought he was kinda cool

(Especially since I've always been a huge Joe Kubert fan).

Monday...monday...well you know..

I had a great weekend with the family, tried to get some work done

but man when is spring coming?

I'm thinking what were my ancestors thinking when they decided to live somewhere where its cold 9 months out of the year.

And if you were homeless wouldn't your odds be better in Hawaii or some place warm?

When I drive through Lower Wacker drive every other day (Where they shot a lot of Dark Knight)

You see so many homeless people living down there tackling the elements.

I can't even imaging a Chicago winter without heat..

Saturday the 23rd of No where...

Went grocery shopping with my 2 year old son today.....

You want to talk about my Mothers curse of "when you have kids I hope you have one thats just like you"

Boy has that come true..in spades..My little guy is a hand full.

All that and because he repeats everything I can't even swear anymore...

I can't talk without swearing or using my hands.

I was up late, and who isn't right?

Really can dig into my work when there are no distractions late at night

Decided to tackle an old favorite of mine Ra's Al Ghul.

I always loved Neal Adams version of him.

Very strong face and chiseled features.

Thats what I was going for, (Not that I'm Neal Adams).

Although I think we weigh about the same...

Much going on with my work lately.

Trying to spin too many plates.

Con season is fastly approaching and getting as much done in the dog days of a Chicago winter

is very important.

I'm really going to give it my all to make the MOCCA show in NYC this april.

However its a bit close to C2E2 here in town so it might be 'Hug and Munch time.

(fyi) the drawings are The Unknown soldier, Man Thing and Luke Cage Hero for hire.

for us to list a sketch a day..

Today it's classic Batman and a young Magneto

I have to say I'm loving it but adding it to my other work has me living

like a vampire (sorry to say I don't look like one of those teenage ones)

I was always more of a fan of the Wolf man anyway.

Have to crank out some copies so I'm off to Kinkos.

MLK day- 'I have a Dream.

I just watched Martin Luther Kings iconic speech on you tube again and man it never gets old.

Mr King has to hands down be considered one of our countries most influential figures.

Big football weekend although most of the games were dogs.

My Chargers bit it again in the playoffs...

Anyway here's a few more sketches gotta run and get out some Fedex.

Hawkman proposal in the pipeline.

Hawkman is a classic DC character that I've been wanting to jump on for a long time.

Loved him as a kid but when I saw what Rags Morales and Mike Bair did with

him I really thought a Hawk world type of thing would be right up my alley.
